MASON CITY – A former Mason City man and convicted felon is in jail at this time after a guilty plea to possession of methamphetamine.

On August 2, Cerro Gordo deputies were called to a rural residence south of Manly for an incomplete 911 call. Upon arrival and investigation, Ryan Robert Rosenberg, age 30 of St. Ansgar, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.

On December 3, Rosenburg and his public defender entered a guilty plea to the meth possession charge. He was given a 180 day jail sentence with 173 days suspended, a year of probation and ordered to pay $660.25 in fines and court fees.

Rosenburg will be in jail until December 10.

WoW-a whole seven days in jail and a fine that he will never pay. No wonder they keep on breaking the law. There is no penalty.

Good luck give him a month or two and we will be posting again, Turds like this always come back until we flush em down the toilet.
