DES MOINES – A man who has served 38 years for a murder passed away Monday in an Iowa prison.
Kenneth Boyd, an inmate assigned to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center, died Monday November 24, 2014 in the IMCC Hospice Care Unit.
Boyd died of natural causes due to complications from renal failure.
Boyd was 65 years old and serving a life sentence from Pottawattamie County for Murder First Degree. This sentence began on June 25, 1976.
