MASON CITY – A garage that burned Sunday morning is a total loss.
Mason City police and fire responded to a garage fire Sunday at about 9:49 AM. Emergency responders arrived at 510 North Georgia Avenue to discover the garage to be fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was extinguished but not before some small amount of damage was caused to a neighboring structure. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
