CHARLES CITY – A person in a wheelchair got a big dose of help from police in America’s hometown, recently.
According to a report, police in Charles City encountered a lost, sleeping subject in a wheelchair on April 9 before 7 AM in the morning at the 2900 block of 13th Avenue.
The report states that police made contact with the subject, who was parked at the side of the road and indicated he or she was lost.
Police reported that they “redirected” the person “to a better route” before the call for service was ended.
