CLEAR LAKE – A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Garner man for drug possession early Saturday.
Cerro Gordo deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at South 8th Street and 4th Avenue in Clear Lake at about 1:26 AM Saturday. The driver was given a .02% violation and cited for minor consumption of alcohol and fail to obey a stop sign. The passenger, 18-year-old Connor Ryan White of Garner was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).
White had been released from jail by later Saturday.
