RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A rear-end auto collision left two Northern Iowa men with injuries Tuesday night.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, an auto collision took place on Tuesday night, October 7, 2025, south of Clear Lake. At 9:27 PM, at 11250 Grouse Avenue, a 2002 International 4000 Series truck driven by 22-year-old Jett Orin Neuberger of Clear Lake was southbound on Grouse Avenue and making a right turn into a private drive. Followingbehind the truck was 48-year-old Kristopher Michael Lester of Klemme, Iowa, in a 2006 Ford F-250 pickup truck. Lester’s pickup collided with the rear of the International.
As a result of the collision, both drivers suffered undisclosed injuries and were transported to Mercy One Hospital in Mason City.
The accident remains under investigation.
