CEDAR RAPIDS – Senator Jack Hatch of Des Moines, the Democratic nominee in the election for Governor in Iowa, will make an announcement tomorrow about his choice to be the Democratic nominee for Lt. Governor of Iowa.
“I am thrilled to announce Iowa’s new leadership team will be complete tomorrow when I announce my choice to be the Democratic nominee for Lt. Governor of Iowa,” Hatch said Monday via social media.
Hatch said his campaign will do the announcement at 9 AM Tuesday in Cedar Rapids at IBEW 405 Hall, 1211 Wiley Boulevard.
Republicans have speculated that two names that has been mentioned as a strong possibility is former Iowa Democratic Chairwoman Sue Dvorsky and Monica Vernon, a member of the Cedar Rapids City Council.
