Accused meth dealer nabbed in the Cultural Crescent area

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman accused of dealing meth was arrested in the Cultural Crescent area Monday.

Brittnie Lee Jackson, age 23 of Mason City, was picked up by Cerro Gordo deputies at the 300 block of 2nd Street NE at about 4:30 PM on a number of warrants related to charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and drug tax stamp violations. All four charges are felonies. The charges were brought February 7th by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office and an arrest warrant was immediately issued.

Jackson is being held on $40,000 cash-only bond at this time as she awaits a February 21, 2014 court date. She is also facing another misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana filed against her last month. She was free on bond awaiting a March 25, 2014 jury trial.
