RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A Rockwell woman was seriously injured after the motorcycle she was riding struck a deer south of Mason City.
According to a report from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, on September 29th at about 7:30 PM, deputies responded to a single vehicle accident involving a motorcyclist that struck a deer. The motorcycle was driven by Patricia Weydert, age 59, of Rockwell.
Weydert was air-lifted to Mercy Medical Center for injuries as a result of the collision.
