MASON CITY – City Hall is inviting dogs and their owners to attend this Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
To show support for the dog park project, City Hall has invited dogs to attend the council meeting. There will be dog treats provided.
The meeting begins at 7 PM in the Mason City Room at the Mason City Library.
Mason City was selected as one of the 15 finalists in PetSafe’s “Bark for Your Park” Contest. There is a chance to win the grand prize of $100,000 or a runner-up prize of $25,000.
According to the city’s website, “The $100,000 would allow us to build and finish our dog park immediately – not in phases.”
