9/11 Statement of U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley

September 11, 2001, may have changed life as we knew it, but it did not change our country’s commitment to freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Today, on the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks, we join together in honoring the memory of those who died that day, the sacrifice of those who have died in military service since 9-11, and all the soldiers and veterans who have served their country to protect U.S. national security and preserve our way of life.
