Cedar Falls “stabbing victims” arrested after breaking into home

On Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at approximately 2:00 AM, three people arrived at Covenant Medical Center Emergency Room with stab wounds. The three reported that they had been stabbed at an unknown location in Waterloo.

The investigation into the stabbing led to the “stabbing victims” being arrested. Officers learned that the residence at 223 Letsch Street, Waterloo had been broken into and the homeowner stabbed the three intruders as they assaulted him. The homeowner received welts to his back and side from a blunt object.

Two of the “victims” have been arrested. Milo David Rousseau, age 37, of 700 West Ridgeway, #215, Cedar Falls, IA has been charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree and Robbery in the 2nd Degree. Branden James Boyer, age 17, of 2002 Pine Street, Cedar Falls, IA has been charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree and Robbery in the 2nd Degree.

The driver of the getaway car, Trevor Allen Kern, age 17, of 700 West Ridgeway, #215, Cedar Falls, IA has been charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree and Robbery in the 2nd Degree.

The third “victim” is still being treated at the hospital. Case remains under investigation. No booking photos are being released at this time.

Waterloo Police have arrested the 4th “victim” from a home invasion that happened on August 28th at 223 Letsch Street, Waterloo.

Arrested was Austin Gilbert Christian, age 19, of 1228 Parker Street, Cedar Falls, IA. He has been charged with Burglary in the First Degree and Robbery in the Second Degree.
