Even with the recent decline in the price of gas, it is still far from being affordable. The price of gas, among other things, contributes to the decrease in car sales.
Chuck Wulf, owner of C&W Used Cars, said, “It’s been a slow year. Usually during tax return time things pick up, but it did only slightly this year.
Knowing how the economy is and the high price of gas, Chuck is allowing his friend, Bob McGowan, to sell gas efficient, high mileage Mopeds on his lot.
There are different sizes, “The 150cc is the biggest and you need a motorcycle license to drive that one. It gets about 75 miles to the gallon. The smaller ones get about 100-102 miles to the gallon, depending on how you drive,” explains Bob.
He has the Mopeds on sale until July 4th, for $1400 a Scooter, plus he is throwing in a $15 gas card.
