Train noise in Mason City has been an issue for decades. Most of us are used to it. Some of us will never be used to it. We found out the city of Boone, Iowa was successful in eliminating most of the noise from their trains through the use of quiet zones, which can be expensive to implement. Is this a quality of life issue that Mason City should pursue?
