Cerro Gordo County Supervisors, October 9th, 2012.

MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Supervisors met Tuesday morning for their regular meeting.

County Engineer Mary Kelly was not in attendance but left a report for the board.  She said in the report that County Highway B-20 is now open in Northwest section of the county.  A three-mile resurfacing project was just completed there by Heartland Asphalt.  The 3-mile stretch of B-20 is from Balsam Avenue to Eagle Avenue.  Iowa DOT farm-to-market funds paid for the $1,796,402.76 million project.  The county and Heartland Asphalt are still in discussions to remedy  the blacktop asphalt surface there that failed a series of tests, Supervisors confirmed today.

An ambulance service agreement was approved by the board, between the county and the cities of Mason City and Clear Lake.
