Delores Fangman, 93, resident of Highland Ridge in Williamsburg, Iowa, passed away peacefully at University of Iowa Hospital on November 2, 2021, due to complications from a broken hip. Delores grew up in Armstrong, Iowa. She married Walter Fangman in 1948 and moved to Bancroft, Iowa. When they retired they moved to Shell Knob, Missouri. In 1996 they moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. After Walter passed away in 1998, Delores moved back to Bancroft. She enjoyed living in Bancroft and spending time with her family and friends. She had many hobbies including quilting, knitting and crocheting baby blankets. Delores moved to Highland Ridge in Williamsburg in 2013. She continued crocheting scarves and making baby blankets for the neonatal unit at University of Iowa Hospitals.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband Walter Fangman and grandson Nathan Fangman. She is survived by her brother Dennis Burgess, sons Jerry (Sue) Fangman and Philip (Mary) Fangman, her grandson Andrew (Kristine) Fangman and their 2 children, and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

The celebration is planned for May 28 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Main Street Pub (102 W. Ramsey St.) in Bancroft, Iowa.
