MASON CITY – A Charles City man facing charges for stealing beer in Charles City was arrested this week after more alleged crimes at a Mason City apartment complex.
Mason City police were called for a trespassing complaint on the evening of November 9. Officers responded to the Autumn Park Apartments at 710 South Pierce Avenue and encountered 30-year-old Dean Larry Naeve of Charles City. He was arrested for aggravated misdemeanor third or subsequent offense public intoxication and jailed. He was soon released.
Naeve is accused in Floyd county of stealing beer from a Charles City retailer back on October 18 and then throwing some of it into a river. Naeve was jailed on charges of public intoxication 3rd offense, 5th degree theft, and putting debris in the river. He’s due in court next week.
Neve was guilty of trespassing in Mason City back in August; he owes $455.00 in fines and fees in that case to the courts.
