FOREST CITY – A Minnesota man awaits trial in January for the alleged sexual abuse of a child.
Jamie John Kujak, age 27 of Albert Lea, Minnesota stands charged in Winnebago county district court with three counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of lascivious acts with a child. The charges were brought in March by the Lake Mills police department, and he was arrested on April 6 and brought to the Winnebago county jail. He entered a not-guilty plea that month and was held in jail until June, when his bond was reduced and he was granted GPS monitoring while he is out of jail awaiting trial.
Kujak reportedly had sex with a 13-year-old girl in Lake Mills back in 2014. His trial will now be held on January 11, 2017, while a pre-trial conference is set for December 20.
