Small town Iowa woman killed in crash

logo-iowa-state-patrolSPENCER – A woman was killed Tuesday morning in an auto crash near Spencer, Iowa.

A vehicle driven by 40 year-old Mindee Wilcox of Rossie, Iowa lost control on ice covered roads at about 9:14 AM, according to a report, and slid across the center line of Highway 71, just south of Spencer. Wilcox’s vehicle then was struck by an on-coming vehicle driven by Gary Yeager, 56, of Hershey, Nebraska.

Wilcox was killed in the collision and Yeager was uninjured.
