MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was stopped by law enforcement and the deputy discovered she had two young children totally unrestrained riding in the car.

Wrayna Marie Davis, age 20, was stopped by a Cerro Gordo deputy Wednesday night around 7:28 PM near South Federal Avenue and 5th Street. Davis has a suspended driver’s license. During the stop, the deputy found three children in the 2001 Ford Taurus Davis was driving. One was properly restrained according to the law. However, two children – a three-year-old and a four-year-old – were not in safety seats and or belts.

Davis was arrested on charges of driving under suspension, no SR-22 insurance, and two counts of failure to restrain a child. She was jailed and held on bond. Her car was impounded. There was no word on where the children went as she was arrested.
