DES MOINES – Kanye West, a pop music performer, allegedly intends to be President of the United States and is attempting to get on the ballot in Iowa, after turning in official papers today.

Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate announced Friday afternoon, “I can confirm that representatives from the Kanye West presidential campaign just delivered nominating petitions to our office. We will review the petitions to ensure they meet the minimum requirements.”
The Kanye “campaign” has also submitted nominating papers in Wisconsin and Illinois. West recently made headlines when his wife and others told the media that he was suffering from some kind of mental breakdown after a goofy campaign conference he held in South Carolina. Forbes reported, “Kanye West has been plagued by mental illness for years.”
Some say his music is terrible, but he’s won awards for it.
Some are confused by West’s campaign after he apparently met with Jared Kushner recently, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, but rapped about not supporting Trump any longer.
