MASON CIY – A Mason City man was found guilty of second offense drunk driving and must serve 10 days in jail.
Monte Paul Butterfield, age 57, is currently in the county jail serving 10 days with work release. He was given 180 day jail term with 170 days suspended. He must also pay $2,541.25 in fines and court fees. He pled guilty this month to second offense operating while intoxicated after an arrest by Cerro Gordo deputies on August 21.
Butterfield was also arrested by Cerro Gordo deputies in January of 2013 for drunk driving, and later pled guilty to that offense.
