Law enforcement says alleged killer spotted at airport

BLAINE, MN – Minnesota law enforcement continues its dogged pursuit of a suspect said to have murdered a former Mason City man.

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that the search for yle Marvin “Ty” Hoffman continues after a sighting early Tuesday morning.

According to law enforcement officials, on September 2, 2014 at approximately 5:00 AM, there was a report of a possible sighting of Hoffman in the area of the Anoka County Airport. The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office and Blaine Police Department is continuing the investigation and searching the area with multiple agencies and SWAT teams from the metro area. Hoffman may still be in the Twin Cities area, is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached, they said, while asking for more help from the public in locating him.
