MASON CITY – Police were called to a North End house Tuesday morning on a report of a domestic disturbance and arrested a man for felony domestic assault.
Officers were dispatched to 142 14th Street NW at about 8:22 AM Tuesday to investigate a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Aaron Michael Romig, age 28, was placed under arrest and charged with felony domestic assault involving strangulation as well as possession of a counterfeit substance.
Romig was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and held on no bond until he sees a judge.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
