Waverly Art Walk committee seeks applicants

WAVERLY – Art Walk, Waverly’s annual juried fine arts and crafts show, is still seeking artists for its 10th annual show. Up to 40 artists can be accepted and space is still available.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 10 am to 4 pm in Kohlmann Park located along the Cedar River in downtown Waverly. Around 30 artists from the tri-state area have attended each year to sell and exhibit their artwork to the public.

Eligible entries must be completely original and designed and created by the artist. Two-dimensional media including: oils, acrylics, watercolors, and other painting or drawing media, photography, relief, intaglio or silkscreen prints, and giclée prints. Also, three-dimensional media including ceramics, jewelry, fiber, wood, glass, paper, basketry, cast iron, wrought iron, plaster and other sculpture materials is accepted.
