MASON CITY – Due to the rain last weekend, crews were not able to get out and treat weeds.
Pending favorable weather conditions, the City of Mason City will be treating the Frederick Hanford Park (adult softball complex) for weed control on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, 2014. Central Park will also be treated on Sunday, June 8 and Monday, June 9, 2014.
Residents are asked to avoid these areas if at all possible during this time.
The chemicals are Mec Amine-D® and Dimension Ultra 40 WP, according to city hall.
