MASON CITY – An aspiring and up-and-coming singer will perform the National Anthem at a mixed-martial arts event to be held this month in Mason City.
Jaianna Green has been asked to sing the anthem on August 25 for the RCC Mixed-Martial Arts event to be held in Mason City at the North Iowa Events Center.
Jaianna, a 16-year-old soon-to-be junior at Cedar Rapids Kennedy is the daughter of Mason City native Ty Green. She is a very active show choir member/soloist, an honor roll student, and enjoys spending time with her teammates and loving father. Throughout her years in show choir, she has received 11 best female soloist awards and was in an undefeated show choir in her middle school years. Jaianna was selected for the 2014 and 2015 Opus Honor Choir in Ames, Iowa.
Jaianna will be working on a CD at Eastern Iowa Arts Academy “Cave CR Recording Studio.” She has also sung the national anthem for various venues including The Double Tree Hotel, US Cellular, and The Marriott for the Big Brother Big Sister Program Fundraiser. She has performed at the Riley Smith Festival at Newbo and was asked to perform with Riley Smith on stage for the Festival. Jaianna was also a contestant on America’s Got Talent and will be going to the “Voice” later in the year.
Watch Jaianna perform the National Anthem in Mason City in the All Seasons Building at the North Iowa Events Center on August 25 at 7:30 PM, when the event starts.

There are many talented people all over the State and the US. This girl my daughter has won every award you can win and is only 16 here in Cedar rapids iowa/ My son’s were all all state like i was in sports and this girl is undefeated. The Green family are well known, respected and loved by many age groups in Mason City. They are known as honest, hard working, kind, thoughtful kids, who are now adults, with their own children.
