MASON CITY – Today at 12:16 pm, citizens reported a possible suicidal person in a vehicle in East Park. Mason City police officers arrived and determined that the person was deceased.
No foul play is suspected at this time but the incident remains under investigation.
The deceased person was identified as Rhonda Best, 36, of Mason City.
