OSAGE – A Charles City man is dead and five other persons were injured late Friday in a one-vehicle accident just east of Osage.
According to a report, at about 11:37 PM Friday, a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero was southbound on Hickory Avenue about 1 mile north of Highway 9 when the vehicle, driven by 22 year-old Tylor Patrick of Osage, lost control and left the roadway. The vehicle proceeded to roll several times, coming to rest upright in the northbound ditch.
Injured was Patrick, who was taken to Mercy Hospital in Mason City; Clinton Deaton, age 25, of Osage, who was taken to Mercy Hospital; Carissa Dolan, 16, from Texas, who was taken to Mercy Hospital; Aimee Deetz, 24, from Charles City, who was taken to the Mitchel County Hospital; and Caitlin Block, 20, who was taken to the Mitchel County Hospital.
Jesse Wilson, 22, of Charles City, was killed in the accident, which remains under investigation.
