San Francisco – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement Friday on the urgent need to extend the middle class tax cuts and avert the fiscal cliff:
“Christmas is coming, Chanukah is here, families are making new year budget decisions, and the victims of Hurricane Sandy are watching and waiting.
“Time is running out, and the Republican House is out of session. We should be passing the middle income tax cut and avoiding the fiscal cliff. The American people are calling upon us to ‘just do it.’”
