DES MOINES – The Des Moines Register is reporting that an Osage man died after he fell into the Cedar River northwest of St. Ansgar.
The Register reported today that the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office said someone called around 10 p.m. Sunday to say a man had fallen into the river and was missing.
According to the story, crews recovered the victim, identified as Christopher John Ceretti, 31, and performed CPR, but the efforts weren’t successful and he was pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation.
