Mason City man jailed after using truck to ram vehicle

MASON CITY – Mason City police received a complaint around 2am Tuesday morning of a man using his truck to ram another vehicle causing damage at Burkes Bar and Grille.

After an investigation police located and arrested 31 year old Dustin Snowbird of Mason City, before transported him to jail. Snowbird is charged with one class D felony count of 2nd degree criminal mischief $1000 to $10000 in property damage, and one simple misdemeanor count of assault.

2nd degree criminal mischief is punishable by up to five years in prison and a maximum $7500 fine.

Snowbird remains in the Cerro Gordo County jail on a $20,300 cash surety bond pending further court proceedings. Snowbird’s next court appearance is scheduled for November 18th at 8:30am.
