MASON CITY – Mason City police were called to John Adams Middle School, 29 Illinois S. Avenue Wednesday morning at 8:16 a.m. due to a disturbance at the school.
Gary Van Hemert, Co-Principal of John Adams, alerted authorities to the situation.
Two fourteen year-old students were involved in the disturbance and were arrested for disorderly disturbance, a simple misdemeanor.
