WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley will hold meetings in 10 Iowa communities on May 29 and 30.
Grassley said he has planned town meetings in Rockwell City, Fort Dodge, Dakota City, Pocahontas, Emmetsberg, Estherville, Algona, Clarion, and Webster City. He also will speak at the Kiwanis Club meeting in Jefferson.
“Representative government is a two-way street. It’s strengthened by dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent,” Grassley said. “I look forward to these meetings and the opportunity to listen to concerns and points of view and to respond to questions directly from Iowans.”
Grassley has held at least one meeting with Iowans in every one of the state’s 99 counties since 1980, when he was first elected to serve in the U.S. Senate.
