Robert Richard Russell, the son of Wayne and Maria (Brivonese) Russell, was born on January 16, 1957, in Frankfurt, Germany. He died on March 3, 2025, at his home in Estherville, Iowa at the age of 68 years.
Robert attended Cedar Falls High School before working for Carnation, later Nestle, for 30 years, retiring in March of 2018. He moved to Estherville in 2019.
Robert’s father was in the military, so they moved around the world a lot. He truly enjoyed spending time with his parents and all of his family. In his free time, Robert liked to watch TV, fishing, hunting, and gambling.
Robert is survived by his brother, Wayne Russell of Estherville, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Maria (Brivonese) Russell and great-niece, Kaydins Russell.
In lieu of flowers, Robert requested memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers foundation.
