PALM BEACH, FLORIDA — President-elect Donald Trump has named Susan Wiles, his Florida campaign manager, as his White House Chief of Staff.
The 45th and 47th President of the United States of America Donald J. Trump announced that Susan Summerall Wiles, the winning Campaign Manager for President Trump’s highly successful 2024 Campaign for President, will be named President Trump’s White House Chief of Staff.
“Susie Wiles just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history, and was an integral part of both my 2016 and 2020 successful campaigns,” President-elect Trump said. “Susie is tough, smart, innovative, and is universally admired and respected. Susie will continue to work tirelessly to Make America Great Again. It is a well deserved honor to have Susie as the first-ever female Chief of Staff in United States history. I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”
“I’m told Mark Cuban needs help identifying the strong and intelligent women surrounding Pres. Trump,” Wiles, age 67, recently said. “Well, here we are! I’ve been proud to lead this campaign.”
Trump introduced Wiles at a Friday press conference, and declined to make a statement (she’s pictured at top with Trump via her X account, @susie57). There has never been a woman in this position.
“Susie likes to stay in the back, let me tell you,” Trump said. “We call her the ice maiden.”
Wiles has a long history in politics and was a part of former President Ronald Reagan‘s campaigns.
The next presidential inauguration is scheduled to be on January 20, 2025, when Trump officially takes office.
