Elizabeth Ann Blockhus 41, of Klemme, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the Iowa Specialty Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ, 313 Elder St, Klemme, IA with Pastor David Boogerd officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family of Elizabeth Blockhus.
Elizabeth Blockhus was born on August 21, 1982, In San Diego, California to parents Barry and Viane (Sanderson) Eichelberger. Elizabeth graduated from North Fayette High School Class in 2000. On October 26, 2002, Elizabeth was united in marriage to Aaron Blockhus, in Fayette, IA. Following high school, Elizabeth obtained her CNA and went on to work for Concord Nursing Home for 20 years as the dietary manager.
Elizabeth had a love for cooking, camping, music and spending time with family and friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Aaron; children, Aydan, Makenna, Makinley, Ashtyn; parents Barry and Viane Eichelberger; Siblings Rachel (Justin) Green, Emily (Mak) Klinkhammer Jonathan (Maddison McDonald) Eichelberger; brother-in-law Travis Blockhus; father and mother-in-law, Scott and Christy Blockhus; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
