I am voting for Leonard Foster because Leonard is a man for all the citizens of Mason City, I have known him for years, and have found him to be honest, he has many ideas and a vision to help Mason City grow, He would watch over to make sure our money is being spent wisely, and make all the citizens are a part of the budget process. He is a long time resident of Mason City, and is invested as a part of our community. He will not treat everyone differently, Everyone will be treated equally ‘He will not look down on anyone. He wants Mason City to be the best city in Iowa.He is the best man for At Large Council Person. Please get out and vote.

Leonard is a true gentleman. He is honest, upfront, kind, and very bright. He has served this community at the council table and in ways most people don’t even know.

Leonard knows the issues and has solid answers on how solve the problems we face today. And, it starts with bringing the people back into our city government. The citizens will again have a voice when Leonard is elected.

VOTE ON NOVEMBER 5TH….

I have already voted for Foster also he did a great job at the North end meeting the other night. He got 2 standing ovation because he s honest. how many standing ovstovations has BOOKMEYER got?

Leonard has my vote. In my opinion he will represent all of the people, not just the top 2%.

My wife and I have already voted for Mr. Foster.

He will be a far better representative for the citizens of Mason City then what we have had in Mr. Tornquist the last four years.

I endorse, support, and urge you to vote for Leonard Foster for Councilman-At-Large!

Larry according to Mary Beth greenan you were one of the worst councilmen ever. right up their with Carl Miller former mayor. So your endorsement probably doesn’t help Leonard but I am sure he appreciates it. Thank you.

That is strange, Mary Beth contacted me about running for Mayor. I’ll wait to hear from Mary Beth on that one.

Your old political tactic to discredit the message is to destroy the messenger. My representation and voting record is there for all to check out. I always voted for open government and fiscal responsibility, something we sure do not have now.

This real issue here is what is best for Mason City. That clearly would be a vote for Leonard Foster.

@Larrey Loeckle-Just so you know, not everyone agrees wit Anonymous who is a hater that trys to discredit everything posted on here. I thought you did a decent job and thank you for serving.

Larry did a nice job on council. I am so glad I moved away from MC after reading theses responses on these letters. Accusations of drug and alcohol abuse with no proof. No one in responses addressing issues just I heard he did this. I would not open a business nor will I shop in mc. It is clear most of you don’t like outsiders.

Larrey, you are right- you know me. Here is what was really said. Well, what was said is news to me. God gave us 2 ears and one mouth for a reason.

When this came up– this is what was said in reference to the deceit, lies, etc. of the Mayor and incumbents.. Larry Loeckle would be the worst one to have up there with his passion for the truth, unlike Carl Miller who wouldn’t know the truth if it bit him in the ass……

Larrey served on the council with my mother. They did not always agree, but the both had the best interests of the citizens at heart.

Everybody–VOTE ON NOVEMBER 5!!!!

@Mary Beth-Good response. I knew it was political bull when I read it this morning. These clowns posting under Anonymous have zero accountability and they know it.

Thanks Mary Beth. While all of us on the council disagreed with each other at times, we were never ever disagreeable with each other.

Your mom and I grew to become good friends. When ever we ran into each other we always took time to have a conversation and enjoy each others company. She was a wonderful lady!

yea Mr. foster is a kind hearted man

I too voted for Leonard, I wish I could vote for him all day long.

Guess they won’t be restoring Foster’s 100 thousand dollar a year salary, since he didn’t get in.

I already voted for Mr. Foster. I remember when he was in the council. He was the best hardest working council person this city ever had.

No way.

FROM NIT STAFF: Please keep comments respectable.

Yes way.

Leonard was a great councilman.

Don’t you demean a good person who is dedicated to his community.

It is not disrespectful or demeaning to express an honest opinion.
Leonard may be kind hearted, dedicated, and hard-working, etc. However, he was not very effective as a council member. And, there is the matter of the call to the police which goes to judgment.

@4ever49

The bad judgement is all yours!

What’s the matter Watchdog – does the truth hurt?
