CHARLES CITY – Friday’s Party in the Park event will get a boost with the thrill of a zip line.
The zip line will be provided by Gee Willie Entertainment and is funded in part by Charles City Hotel/Motel Tax, according to the Charles City Chamber of Commerce.
The zip line distance can be set up between 100 feet to 220 feet in length. According to the Chamber, the distance and height of the zip line will be determined once Gee Willie Entertainment personnel arrive and begin set up. Two participants at a time can experience the zip line, according to Gee Willie’s web site, and say that their staff is professionally trained to provide a safe and fun experience.
Music entertainment will be performed by PV & the Phantoms.
As always, food will be available to purchase in the park as well.
The event runs from 5 PM to 9 PM in Central Park and is sponsored by Central Park Dentistry; First Citizens National Bank; McDonalds; Schueth Ace Hardware; and Valero Renewables.
