AMES – Highly-ranked Baylor was too much for Iowa State as the Cyclones dropped a Big 12 Conference home game the Bears Saturday, 76-65.
Iowa State (2-5 overall, 0-3 Big 12) held close to #2 Baylor (9-0, 2-0 Big 12), trailing by just four points at halftime, but a 13-0 streak by the Bears in the second half blew the game open.
Javan Johnson led Iowa State with 17 points.
Iowa State next plays on Tuesday at 7 PM vs. No. 8 Texas in Austin.
