PLYMOUTH – There are now more options for fun at a newly-renovated park in Plymouth.
Cerro Gordo County Conservation reported that they have completed upgrades to the tennis courts at Strand Park in Plymouth (pictured at top, via CG Conservation).
“The playing surface was overlayed with new asphalt, striped for both tennis and pickle ball, and two new basketball hoops were installed,” the agency said via social media.
A local citizen told NIT that the park is now “wonderful. Perfect now in this fall weather.”
“This amazing transformation was funded in part by the Strand Park Trust, grants from the Worth County Development Authority and North Iowa Community Foundation, and donations from the City of Plymouth, First Security Bank, and Omnitel,” CG Conservation continued. “Thanks to all of our partners on this project!”
