FORT DODGE – A man was found dead in his Fort Dodge driveway Saturday morning and police are seeking clues to his mysterious demise.

On Saturday, March 25th, at approximately 10:16 A.M., the Webster County Telecommunications Center received a call regarding an unresponsive male in the 600 block 3rd Ave. N. in Fort Dodge.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a deceased male on the driveway of 602 3rd Ave. N. The Fort Dodge Fire Department along with the Webster County Medical Examiner were called to the scene. Officers canvassed the neighborhood, conducted interviews and gathered evidence. Members of the criminal investigation division were called in to assist.

Police say they are working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the male’s death, to include exploring all avenues as to how this incident unfolded. Police are working to notify all next of kin of the deceased.

At this time investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division are continuing to follow up on this incident.
