MASON CITY – A Mason City man is guilty of felony drunk driving and has been sent to jail.
Paul Allen Rowe, age 47 of Mason City, was accused of drunk driving after an arrest in Cerro Gordo county on August 13, 2017. He and his public defender initially entered a not-guilty plea to a charge of felony third-offense operating while intoxicated.
However, they later changed their tune and entered a guilty plea. He was sentenced to a suspended 5-year prison sentence and 30 days in jail. His license was revoked, and he must pay $4,458.75 in fines and court fees. The court graciously allowed him a $50 per month payment plan. He must serve 2 years of probation.
Rowe was caught drunk driving in Cerro Gordo county in 2014, leading to a conviction for second-offense operating while intoxicated. He still owes $741.25 to Iowa courts in that case, records show. He was previously caught drunk driving in 2010 and 1995, records show.
Rowe, Paul Allen:

Bodacious will reform him.
So, let’s see…..He still owes $741.25 and now, on top of that, the court has allowed him to make 89 payments or so at $50 a whack to pay off this latest round of fines. He received no prison time either. This guy ought to go buy some lottery tickets as lucky as he is.
This guy need some help and soon, before it’s too late and he kills someone or himself.
He won’t be rowing his boat for awhile
Bodacious will reform him.
he needs to go to independence for the cure
