DES MOINES – Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds will unveil designs for Iowa’s new license plate this week – and you get to choose the best option.
Governor Kim Reynolds and Lt. Governor Adam Gregg will unveil three new license plate designs in a press conference with the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) Thursday morning. The show will take place at the Varied Industries Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.
The three designs will then become available for public vote and will be introduced to the public in 2018.
As a reminder, the Iowa Supreme Court ruled that police are within their rights to pull over anyone with a license plate that is not fully visible.
