CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman was hurt after she crashed a motorcycle on a gravel road.
The accident took place on August 5, 2017, at about 11:57 AM. Charles City police were called to a motorcycle crash at the 1300 block of South Grand Avenue. Angela Day, age 48 of Charles City, was test driving a black 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle when she lost control of the bike. As a result, Day was transported by ambulance to the Floyd County Medical Center with broken bones, road rash and other injuries. She was released soon thereafter and continues to recover.
Estimated damage to the motorcycle was $250.
Loud pipes could have prevented this.
It was at treasure chest not some random gravel road… and who cares about the motorcycle as long as she is okay?
