Margaret Ann Shatek, 88, of Elma, died Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Evans Senior Living Community in Cresco.
Margaret was born November 8, 1937, in Chester, Iowa, and later made her home in Elma.
Family members and friends will gather Friday and Saturday to honor her life.
A rosary will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory, 508 Maple Street in Elma.
Visitation will follow from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue for one hour before the funeral Mass Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 17511 Lourdes Road near Elma.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The Rev. Paul Baldwin will officiate.
Interment will follow at approximately 11:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery, 17775 Lourdes Road near Elma.
