WASHINGTON – The federal government reported this morning that Monday is a “record day so far” at the health care marketplace website – http://www.Healthcare.gov – as people line up to get health care coverage to avoid a penalty next year.

According to a Twitter account for http://www.Healthcare.gov, “thousands visiting and enrolling now. Queuing deployed to help keep site smooth for users.”

Moments before that information was released, the feds said that the website is “running smoothly. More than [1 million] visits to site & 200k calls to call center this weekend seeking affordable options.”

Later Monday at about 4:45 PM, feds claimed that Healthcare.gov “has surpassed a million site visits so far today.”

The Healthcare.gov website has been plagued with technical issues since it was rolled out on October 1st, but the government claims all the problems have been mostly solved. Persons without health care coverage next year will face a $95 penalty. Republicans have called for a full repeal of the Affordable Care Act, sometimes known as “Obamacare.” They claim that the new law will not cover nearly as many Americans as President Obama promised and will cause health care costs to skyrocket.

Open enrollment in the health care marketplace ends March 31, 2014.

Medicare for all!

Worst. President. Ever.

Record numbers are signing up, you can keep your coverage, you can keep your doctor, I’ve never talked to my uncle in Boston (oops, forgot I lived with him for a while years ago), Benghazi was due to a video, we’ve reduced the deficit (while Fed printed money borrowing goes over $4 trillion) — do I need to go on?
Obama’s administration is a joke and he is a colossal failure as a leader.

I don’t know what you are talking about, obama has never been a leader and has never tried to hide that fact. He is proud that he has taken our country down his own perverted path.

What I was alluding to is that as an elected President he is the presumed leader, and as such he has proved to be a colossal failure.

Those 3 words fit him well, presumed and colossal failure.

Their record number is probably 5.

Now that is real strange. I just watched a report on CBS and that report showed that none of the states have signed up even 20% of their goal as yet. Today was the deadline but of course they have put it off now. I know a guy that has been told by the feds four times that he was good to go and then received a cancellation notice saying he was not qualified. He only makes $1,700 a month on disability and has a teenage son in school. Now he is trying to pay for his insurance and the system will not let him. He doesn’t know what to do as he has major health issues and will not have insurance as of the first of the year. It is no where near as good a policy as he had and cost more but like he says, he has no option. They should be so proud.
