MASON CITY – A Mason City woman faces a theft charge after an incident at Target this weekend.
Mason City police were called to the Target department store, located at 3450 4th Street SW, on the evening of Sunday, January 15. Officers arrived at about 9:12 PM to take a report of a theft. After an investigation, 62-year-old Diana Lynn Hampton of Mason City was arrested on a charge of third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor. She was taken to jail and soon released, pending a court date.
Hampton was guilty of fifth-degree theft in Mason City back in 2010 and 2006.
