DAVENPORT, IOWA – A man was shot early Sunday in the major eastern Iowa town of Davenport, and police are searching for clues.
According to the Davenport Police Department, on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at approximately 3:34 AM, officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of E. Kimberly and Jersey Ridge Road. A short time later officers were notified of a possible victim who had been taken to Trinity Hospital in Bettendorf by personal vehicle.
The victim is an adult male who suffered a non-life threatening injury. A canvass of the area has been conducted and casings have been recovered. No arrests have been made. The incident is under investigation.
