MASON CITY – A Mason City man who violated his probation was picked up on an arrest warrant Thursday.
Jason Alan Sandy, 28, was arrested by Clear Lake Police on May 22 and charged the next day with domestic abuse assault.
After 2 continuances, on August 14th Judge Ronald Wagenaar handed down a deferred judgement to Sandy and 1 year of probation.
After an unspecified violation on September 14th, Sandy’s probation was revoked on September 21st by Judge Patrick Byrne. A warrant for his arrest was issued on September 24th.
Sandy is now in the Cerro Gordo County Jail waiting to see a judge.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
